Works Division is the Administrative Division of Ministry of U.D. looking after the affairs of CPWD. This Division is the Cadre Controlling Authority of Central Engineering Services both Civil & Electrical as well as Central Architectural Service and Horticulture Service. The Division is entrusted with work relating to framing of Recruitment Rules of all the Cadres of CPWD both technical and subordinate cadre/posts in CPWD. Works Division has also been tasked with the appointment of Arbitrators. Purchase/Acquisition of land by CPWD, Five year plan Annual Plan & Budget of CPWD, Draft Audit Paras and report of C&AG in respect of CPWD are also dealt with in this Division.
